As previously mentioned, I made dinner with the housemates & the boys (& as in boys, I mean Heather’s fiance Chris, Mari’s boyfriend Jonathan, and Ronnie). It did take a little while.. BUT we did it !
We had our simple ceasar salad. (Sorry for the blurry picture.. I guess I accidentally erased the other ones, but we all know what ceasar salad looks like so it’s okay. lol)
I recently saw a post on Tumblr AND StumbleUpon for Cheesy Garlic Biscuits so we definitely had to try it :) The girls ended up finding a different recipe than the one I found, but it still turned out AWESOME.
I made Garlic Cream Linguine with Shrimp & Chicken (Shrimp for the non-meat eater (Mari), and Chicken for the non-shrimp eater (Heather))
DEFINITELY made too much pasta, LOL. even with most of us eating seconds…
Mari made a berry sangria with strawberries, blueberries, & blackberries !
We also had RED VELVET CHEESECAKE BROWNIES (that Heather made), but I didn’t get a chance to take a picture of it before she cut into it.. but all you need to know is that THEY WERE AWESOME AND DELICIOUS ! Heather knows I love brownie edges, so she even cut off one side for me before dinner & I got to try it. YUMYUMYUM.
Then a while after we all settled down after dinner, we played MONOPOLY ! & for a good three hours. We started off individually, but merged together into teams. It got pretty intense and deals were being made and people were going broke. LOL. It was a fun evening :) Definitely a good way to end session 1 :)
